Wayne Kassian discusses certification and audits to make sure the precast manufacturer has the essential components of a quality assurance system in place and to make sure the plants have a functioning quality system geared towards giving the Precaster the highest probability of having a successful project.
About the Presenter
Wayne Kassian; Kassian Dyck & Associates. Wayne provides over 40 years of diverse structural analysis and design experience of various structures throughout North America. He has been the Senior Structural Design Engineer for numerous projects, ranging from residential buildings to multimillion dollar industrial and commercial projects. Wayne is a member of CSR 23.3 Design of Concrete Structures and CSR 23.4 Precast Concrete Materials and Construction. He is the Editor in Chief of the CPCI Design Manual 6th edition. He sits on the Quality Assurance Council for the Canadian Precast Concrete Assurance Program, CPCQA. He is the current chair of the CPCI Technical Committee.
