About the Presenter

Susana Hernandez Brito is an M.Sc student in the Civil Engineering department at the University of Manitoba. Her research focuses on the reinforcing bar connection of precast/prestressed hollow-core slabs to steel or masonry supports. She received her B.Sc. Degree from the Technological University of La Habana in 2016. She worked as a research assistant for two years at ENIA Laboratory, which is considered one of the top investigation centers for Cuba's construction materials.
