About the Presenter

Ozzy Dervisoglu, Preconstruction & Pursuits Manager, PreCon Limited.
Ozzy Dervisoglu has been in the precast industry since 2002. He has been involved in numerous precast Parking Garage and ICI Projects. His expertise is in design development, estimating and project management. Ozzy’s approach to providing precast services on any project is to carefully determine the client's intent and consider the structure's appearance, function and form. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Windsor and an MBA from Schulich School of Business. Ozzy is a Professional Engineer and has been chair of the Ontario Chapter of CPCI for many years.

Val Sylaj, Ph.D., President, Canadian Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute. Val leads the institute in developing Technical Publications, Design Manuals, and Best Practice Guides. He oversees the institute’s research activities and provides technical support to clients and members.
